UREA INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2]

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3. Remove in the order shown in the table.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. If the urea injector is replaced, perform the “Operation After Replacing Urea Injector” procedure. (See SCR SYSTEM INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

Gasket Installation Note

1. Install the gasket so that the tabs do not bend.

1. Align the injector tabs with the flange grooves and assemble.
