Note

• The urea hose heater is built into the urea hose. When replacing the urea hose heater, replace the urea hose.

Resistance Inspection

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Disconnect the urea hose heater connector. (See UREA TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

3. Inspect the resistance between urea hose heater terminals A and B.

Urea hose heater resistance

2WD (WGN): 2.37—2.89 ohms

2WD (4SD): 2.35—2.87 ohms

4WD: 2.31—2.81 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the urea hose. (See UREA TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)
