VERIFY IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS CD PLAYER
• Clear the CD player DTCs.

• Turn off the CD player to return it to normal temperature conditions.
• Perform a DTC inspection of the CD player.

• Is the same Pending DTC present?

Yes

Replace the CD player, then go to the next step.

No
|
CD player is normal. (Explain to the customer that the CD player malfunction was temporary due to continuous use of the CD player.)
• If the malfunction recurs, replace the CD player.
