REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (With USB power outlet/with rear seat warmer system) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the rear seat back. (LH) (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, pull the rear seat center armrest hinge cover in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the rear seat center armrest hinge cover from the rear seat center armrest hinge.

4.  Remove the rear seat center armrest hinge cover.

5.  Remove the bolt.

6.  Partially peel back the trim of the rear seat center armrest hinge and remove the clip in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  Use a rag so that the clip does not fall off before it is removed. Otherwise, the clip may fall into the seat back and cannot be retrieved.

7.  Remove the rear seat center armrest in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure while setting the pins aside.

8.  For vehicles with USB power outlet or with rear seat warmer system, perform the following procedure.

(1)  Unzip the zippers.

(2)  Remove the surface fastener.

(3)  Slide the hooks in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure to detach them from the rear seat back frame.

(4)  Pull out the wiring harness from the rear seat back and remove the center armrest.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
