DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (with pocket light) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Detach hooks in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

3.  Pull the dashboard under cover in the direction of arrow (2) while detaching pins.

4.  Remove the dashboard under cover in the direction of the arrow (3) shown in the figure while detaching the guide.

Caution

•  If hooks and pins are removed forcefully, guide may be damaged. Carefully remove the hooks and pins so as not to damage guide.

5.  Disconnect the pocket light connector. (with pocket light)

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

•  When replacing the dashboard under cover, remove the pocket light. (with pocket light) (See POCKET LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
