INDICATOR UNIT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the indicator unit. (See INDICATOR UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Remove the clip.

6.  Insert a precision flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.

7.  Detach the tab and remove the connector from the clip.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
