FRONT FOG LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Front Fog Light (Bulb Type)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the front splash shield No.2. (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Partially peel back the mudguard. (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Rotate the front fog light bulb in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure and remove it from the front fog light in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  If there is oil or dirt on the surface of the light bulb, excessive heat will build up and the life of the light bulb will be shortened. If the light bulb glass area is touched, wipe off any dirt using a soft cloth dampened with detergent diluted in water (approx. 5 %).

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Front Fog Light (LED Type)

Note

•  The LED for the front fog light cannot be replaced separately. If there is any malfunction in the LED, replace the front fog light as a single unit. (See FRONT FOG LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
