HEADLIGHT LEVELING ACTUATOR INSPECTION

Note
•  The headlight leveling actuator is integrated in the front combination light.
•  For the actuator inspection of the headlight auto leveling system, perform the headlight leveling actuator operation check mode. (See HEADLIGHT LEVELING ACTUATOR OPERATION CHECK MODE [ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)].)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

2.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Reconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

4.  Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table.

•  If the voltage is not as indicated in the table, inspect the parts under Inspection item (s).
―  If the system does not work normally even though the parts or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the front combination light. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
