GLASS ANTENNA INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)

2.  Remove the glass antenna terminal cover. (See ANTENNA AMPLIFIER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Visually inspect the glass antenna for damage.

4.  Verify that the continuity between the glass antenna terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, repair the glass antenna. (See REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER/GLASS ANTENNA REPAIR.)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) 2.  Remove the liftgate upper trim. (See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the glass antenna terminal cover. (See ANTENNA FEEDER NO.3 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Visually inspect the glass antenna for damage.

5.  Verify that the continuity between the glass antenna terminals is as indicated in the table.
