CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION [L8, LF, L5]

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the driver‐side air bag module. (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector. (See STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4. Inspect for resistance and continuity between cruise control switch terminals B—D using a tester.

• If not as specified, replace the cruise control switch. (See STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
