•  Inspect the TCM DTCs using the M-MDS.
(See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION [FS5A-EL].)

•  Is the DTC displayed?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

(See DTC TABLE [FS5A-EL].)

After completing a separate DTC inspection, go to the next step.

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY DTCs

•  Clear DTCs using the M-MDS.
(See CLEARING DTC [BCM].)

•  Verify DTCs using the M-MDS.
(See DTC INSPECTION [BCM].)

•  Is DTC U0402:68 displayed?

Yes

Replace the TCM.

(See TCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
