Gap Adjustment

1.  Measure the gap difference between the trunk lid and the body.

2.  If not as specified, loosen the trunk lid hinge installation bolts or the trunk lid lock striker installation bolts, and reposition the trunk lid.

Standard Clearance
a: 2.5—4.5 mm {0.10—0.18 in}
b: 4.0—8.0 mm {0.16—0.31 in}
c: 1.9—5.3 mm {-0.08—0.20 in}
d: 0.1—2.3 mm {0.004—0.090 in}

3.  Tighten the bolts or nuts. (See TRUNK LID REMOVAL/INSTALLATION) (See TRUNK LID LOCK STRIKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)


Hight Difference Adjustment

1.  Measure the height difference between the trunk lid and the body.

Standard Clearance
a: -1.5—0.5 mm {-0.05—0.02 in}
b: -2.1—1.9 mm {-0.082—0.074 in}

2.  Turn the stop rubber to adjust.
