PURGE SOLENOID VALVE INSPECTION [13B-MSP]

Air flow Inspection

1.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [13B-MSP].)

2.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [13B-MSP].)

3.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

4.  Remove the purge solenoid valve.

5.  Inspect air flow between the ports under the following conditions:

•  If there is no air flow, replace the purge solenoid valve.
