PULSATION DAMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[AJ (3.0L Duratec)]

1.  Remove the dynamic chamber. (See DYNAMIC CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)

2.  Disconnect the vacuum hose.

3.  Remove the snap ring.

4.  Remove the pulsation damper.

Caution

•  Since the general O-ring sealing could cause fuel leakage, always use genuine O-ring sealing.

5.  Remove the O-ring sealing and replace with a new one.

•  Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the O-ring sealing.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
