REAR PARKING BRAKE CABLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Remove the brake shoes. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL.)

2.  Disconnect the rear parking brake cable bracket from the wheel knuckle.

3.  Release the parking brake cable end from the operating lever and compress the cable conduit locking tabs.

4.  Remove the rear parking brake cable.

5.  Remove the rear parking brake cable bracket bolts.

6.  Remove the RH side rear parking brake cable.

(1)  Disconnect the RH side rear parking brake cable from the front parking brake cable.

(2)  Disconnect the RH side rear parking brake cable from the parking brake bracket.

7.  Disconnect the rear parking brake cable from fuel tank support strap.

8.  Disconnect the front parking brake cable.

9.  Remove the LH side rear parking brake cable.

(1)  Remove the two bolts.

(2)  Disconnect the LH side rear parking brake cable from the parking brake bracket.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
