TRANSAXLE FLUID TEMPERATURE (TFT) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[GF4AX-EL]

Warning
•  A hot transaxle and ATF can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until they are cool before replacing the ATF.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the control valve body cover. (See CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[GF4AX-EL].)

3.  Disconnect the TFT sensor connector.

4.  Remove the TFT sensor.

5.  Install the TFT sensor.

Tightening torque
6.5—7.8 N·m {66—88 kgf·cm, 58—69 in·lbf}

6.  Connect the TFT sensor connector.

7.  Install the control valve body cover. (See CONTROL VALVE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[GF4AX-EL].)

8.  Connect the negative battery cable.
