Operating Inspection

1.  Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Note

•  The O/D OFF indicator light will flash if a malfunction exists in any of the EC-AT system components.

2.  Verify that the O/D OFF indicator light is not illuminated.

3.  Depress the O/D OFF switch and verify that the O/D OFF indicator illuminates.

•  If there is any malfunction, inspection the O/D OFF switch. (See O/D OFF SWITCH INSPECTION[LA4AX-EL (CD4E)].)

•  If the O/D OFF switch is normal, inspect the instrument cluster or wiring harness.
