SHIFT-LOCK SOLENOID INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the upper panel. (See FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the selector lever connector.

4.  Inspect for continuity between selector lever terminals A and B.

•  If there is no continuity, replace the selector lever. (See SELECTOR LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Connect the selector lever connector.

6.  Install the upper panel. (See FLOOR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Connect the negative battery cable.
