INSPECT HIGH BEAM OPERATION

Turn the light switch to the ON position.

Set the headlight switch to the high beam position.

Are the high beams operative?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Follow the “No.3 HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE INOPERATIVE[HALOGEN HEADLIGHT]” and perform malfunction diagnosis.

INSPECT LIGHT SWITCH

Inspect the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION.)

Is the light switch normal?

Yes

Repair the wiring harness between GEM and light switch for open circuit.

No

Replace the light switch.
