• Check for related Service Information availability.
• Is any related Service Information available?

Perform repair or diagnosis according to available Service Information.
• If vehicle is not repaired, go to next step.

VERIFY OTHER DTC PRESENT
• Is DTC P1288, P1289, or P1290 present?

Yes

Go to applicable DTC inspection.

No

Go to next step.

|
INSPECT FOR THE OVERHEATING
• Inspect for the overheating.
• Is there any malfunction?

Yes
|
Repair or replace as necessary, then go to next step.

No

Go to next step.

INSPECT CHT SENSOR
• Inspect the CHT sensor.
• Is there any malfunction?

Yes
|
Replace the CHT sensor, then go to next step.

No

Go to next step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1299 COMPLETED
• Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors.
• Clear DTC from memory using WDS or equivalent.
• Start engine.
• Warm-up completely.
• Is same DTC present?

Yes

Replace PCM, then go to next step.

No
|
Go to next step.

VERIFY AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION
• Perform "AFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION".
• Is there any DTC present?

Yes

Go to applicable DTC inspection.
