1. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)
2. Remove the intake air duct.
3. Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT [AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)
4. Disconnect the four hoses.
5. Remove the water pump drive pulley. (See CAMSHAFTS (LH) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)
6. Disconnect the water hose between water pump and cylinder block.
7. Disconnect the hose between the water pump and oil cooler.
8. Remove the water pump component.
9. Remove the water pump from the water pump housing.
10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
