WATER PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)]

1. Drain the engine cooling system. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [YF (2.0L Zetec)].)

2. Remove the front bumper.

3. Remove the right front tire assembly.

4. Remove the splash shield.

5. Remove the drive belt. (See DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT [YF (2.0L Zetec)].)

6. Remove the water pump pulley.

7. Remove the four bolts and the water pump.

Note

• Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
