IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)]

1. Remove the air cleaner. (See AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)].)

2. Disconnect the IAC valve connector.

3. Remove the IAC valve installation bolts and IAC valve.

Note
• Replace the gasket with a new one.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

IAC valve installation bolt tightening torque
10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 89 in·lbf}
