FUEL DISTRIBUTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)]

1. Remove the dynamic chamber. (See DYNAMIC CHAMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)

2. Disconnect the fuel line. (See QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AJ (3.0L Duratec)].)

3. Disconnect the six fuel injector connectors and position the wiring harness away from the fuel distributor.

4. Remove the vacuum hose.

5. Remove the fuel distributor.

Note
•  Apply clean engine oil to the fuel injector.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
