FUEL DISTRIBUTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)]

1. Perform the 'Fuel Line Safety Procedure' referring to BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION. (See BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION [YF (2.0L Zetec)].)

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the air hose. (See AIR HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [YF (2.0L Zetec)].)

4. Disconnect the accelerator cable and, if equipped, the speed control actuator cable.

5. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pulsation damper.

6. Disconnect the fuel injector connector.

7. Remove the fuel distributor.

Note
•  Apply clean engine oil to the fuel injector.

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
