• When the customer reports a vehicle malfunction, inspect the O/D OFF indicator light flashing, and PCM memory for diagnostic trouble code (DTC), then diagnose the malfunction according to following flowchart.

- If the DTC exists, diagnose the applicable DTC. (See DTC TABLE [LA4AX-EL (CD4E)].)

- If the DTC does not exist and the O/D OFF indicator light flashes, diagnose the applicable symptom troubleshooting. (SeeSYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING ITEM TABLE [LA4AX-EL (CD4E)].)
