CLUTCH DISC AND CLUTCH COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the transaxle.

(See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G15M-R, G25MX-R].)

2. Using the SST, lock the flywheel to the engine.

3. Remove the bolts, clutch cover and clutch disc.

Warning

• The clutch disc and clutch cover are heavy and may fall if not held when the bolts are removed. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

Caution

• Loosen bolts evenly to prevent clutch cover damage.

4. Use a suitable commercial alcohol base solvent, clean the clutch cover.

Caution

• Do not use cleaners with a petroleum base and do not immerse the clutch cover in solvent.

5. Using the SST to position the clutch disc on the flywheel.

6. Position the clutch cover on the flywheel, install the clutch cover bolts and tighten them in sequence to specification.

7. Remove the SST.

8. Install the transaxle.
