TRANSFER OIL REPLACEMENT [GF4AX-EL]

1. Remove the transfer component. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GF4AX-EL].)

2. Remove the oil level plug and washer.

3. Drain the transfer oil from the oil level plug hole.

4. Install the transfer component. (See TRANSFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [GF4AX-EL].)

5. Fill the transfer oil.

Specified oil viscosity

SAE 80W-90

Capacity (approx. quantity)

0.35 L {0.37 US qt, 0.31 Imp qt}

6. Verify that the oil is near the brim of the oil level plug hole.

7. Install the oil level plug with a new washer.

Tightening torque

39.2-58.8 N·m {4.0-5.9 kgf·m, 28.9-43.3 ft·lbf}
