1. Turn the ignition switch to any position except the LOCK position.
2. Remove the wheel and tire component.
3. Remove the locknut.
4. Remove the tie rod locknut.
5. Disconnect the tie-rod end using the SST.
6. Remove the tie-rod end.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. Adjust the front toe. (See FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT.)
