HEATER CORE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

• If a heater core leak is suspected, the heater core must be leak tested before the heater core is removed. (See HEATER CORE INSPECTION.)

1. Remove the cooling unit. (See COOLING UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2. Remove the heater core.

(1) Remove three screws.

(2) Remove the cover for the heater core and pull the heater core out of the heater unit.
