VERIFY NUMBER OF PROGRAMMED KEYS
• Using the WDS or equivalent, perform the PID/data monitor inspection and verify the number of programmed keys.

• Are two or more keys programmed?
Note
• Two or more keys need be programmed to start the engine.
Yes
The system is normal.
No
• Using the WDS or equivalent, clear the key ID number and program a new key if necessary.

• Go to the next step.

Verify if any DTCs are displayed.
• Using the programmed key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Is DTC B1213 displayed again?
Yes
Replace the PCM and perform the resetting procedure for the immobilizer system when replacing the PCM.
