INSPECT HIGH BEAM OPERATION
Turn the light switch to the ON position.
Set the headlight switch to the high beam position.
Are the high beams operative?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|

No
|
Follow the "No.3 HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE INOPERATIVE" and perform malfunction diagnosis.

INSPECT LIGHT SWITCH
Inspect the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION.)
Is the light switch normal?

Yes
|
Repair the wiring harness between GEM and light switch for open circuit.
|
|
No
|
Replace the light switch.
|
