INSPECT FLASHER CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY
Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
Disconnect the flasher control module connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Measure the voltage at flasher control module terminal A.
Is the voltage more than 10 V?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.
|

INSPECT FLASHER CONTROL MODULE GROUND
Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
Measure the resistance between flasher control module terminal F and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
|
Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.

|
INSPECT FLASHER CONTROL MODULE SIGNAL
Disconnect the flasher control module connector.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Turn on the turn lights (LH) and measure the voltage at flasher control module terminal J. Turn on the turn lights (RH) and measure the voltage at flasher control module terminal I.
Is the voltage more than 10 V?

Yes
|
Replace the flasher control module.
|
No
|
Go to the next step.
|

|
INSPECT RELATED WIRING HARNESS OPEN CIRCUIT
Disconnect the CJB connector.
Disconnect the light switch connector.
Measure the resistance between light switch terminal O and CJB terminal J-06 B.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair the related wiring harness.
|

INSPECT LIGHT SWITCH
Inspect the light switch. (See LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION.)
Is the light switch normal?
|
Yes
|
Replace the flasher control module.
|
No
|
Replace the light switch.
|
