FRONT DOOR HINGE ADJUSTMENT

LH front side, RH front side

Note

• Make sure the rear door is within specification before making any adjustments to the front door. (See BODY AND ACCESSORIES TECHNICAL DATA.)

1. Remove the front fender panel. (See FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2. Mark the positions of the front door hinges to use as reference points.

3. Loosen the front door hinge and the two body installation bolts just enough to permit movement.

4. Remove the A pillar trim.

(1) Remove the pin.

(2) Remove the A pillar trim.

LH front side

1. Position the central junction box (CJB) out of the way.

(1) Remove the nut.

(2) Position the CJB out of the way.

RH front side

1. Position the inertia fuel shut off (IFS) switch bracket out of the way (if equipped).

(1) Remove the bolt.

(2) Position the bracket aside.

LH front side, RH front side

1. Loosen the lower door hinge installation bolt just enough to permit movement.

2. Adjust the front door.

3. Tighten the front door hinge and the three body installation bolts.

LH front side

1. Install the CJB.

(1) Position the CJB.

(2) Install the nut.

RH front side

1. Install the IFS bracket (if equipped).

(1) Position the bracket.

(2) Install the bolt.

LH front side, RH front side

1. Install the A-pillar lower trim.

(1) Position the A-pillar lower trim.

(2) Install the pin.

2. Install the front fender panel. (See FRONT FENDER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
