FRONT WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution

•  After disconnecting the driver-side front power window regulator frame and the power window motor, the automatic window return function may not operate normally. After disconnecting, always perform the power window motor initial setting procedure. (See POWER WINDOW MOTOR INITIAL SETTING PROCEDURE.)

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the front door trim.

3. Remove the screw and the front door trim panel bracket.

4. Position the door screen out of the way.

5. Lower the front door glass to gain access to the screws.

6. Remove the screws.

7. Support the glass in the fully-closed position.

8. Disconnect the power window motor connector. (Vehicles with power window system)

9.• Remove the front window regulator as a single unit.

(1) Remove the bolts.

(2) Remove the nuts.

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

(1) Operate the front door glass to verify correct window function.
