Electronic Key (Radio Frequency Remote Control) Inoperative

If you encounter instances in Model 163 vehicles of electronic key becoming inoperative, please refer to WIS document AD80.35-P-1001GHZ for proper diagnosis procedures. We have determined that a majority of warranty returns is solely due to discharged batteries. As of December 10, 2002, all parts will be audited and returned if they are not found defective.
