Basic information
The balance and fader settings apply for all signal sources (radio, CD, voice output,..) in common.

The base and trebble settings can be stored separately for the following signal sources:
Radio
Traffic announcements
Voice output for navigation
CD player integrated into radio and navigation unit (A2/56)
for optional CD changer

The volume and tone settings for navigation system voice outputs
The volume is automatically increased by a defined level for voice output. The volume increase can be adjusted in stages (with HHT or directly on radio and navigation unit (A2/56). The initial setting is 6 dB).

During voice output, the volume can be changed with the left knob. The base/trebble settings can be changed by actuating the "tone" button (during voice output) on the right knob. The settings can also be continued after the end of the voice output, the setting mode is discontinued 8 s after actuation of the last button.

Volume and tone settings for traffic announcements
The volume of the traffic announcements can be changed during a traffic announcement (procedure analog to setting navigation voice outputs).
