Removing And Installing Complete Lamella Roof
- with CODE (417a) Lamella roof







Removal, installation
1 Remove headliner
2 Disconnect connectors on lamella roof motors (M12/3, M12/4)

NOTE: Before installing headliner check for proper function. For this purpose connect roof control panel and ground lead to C-pillar

3 Remove water drain hoses (2) (4 each)
4 Disconnect electrical leads (arrow) from lamella roof at rear left and right
5 Remove roof reinforcement (3)
6 Unscrew screws (4) (22 each)
- Screw on lamella roof frame = 10 Nm

NOTE: Installation: Screws should first be screwed in lightly, then tightened

7 Open tailgate and remove lamella roof frame (1) toward rear through rear opening with aid of second mechanic

NOTE:
- Installation: When replacing lamella roof frame (1):
- Transfer folding headliner
- Transfer lamellas

8 Replace gasket (5)
9 Install in opposite order
