Function
The ventilation provides for
Keeping the windows from fogging up.
Fresh air for the vehicle passengers.
Quickly achieving a uniform and pleasant temperature in the passenger compartment.
In normal operation the blower motor (M2) is used to support the ventilation when the vehicle is standing still or to increase the flow rate.
Fresh air is sucked in through the air inlet in the heater housing.
The air flows through the air ducts to the air outlets depending on the setting on the pushbutton control module The air flows out of the vehicle through the rear nozzles consisting of ventilation slits on the left and right in the area below the rear side windows.
In the recirculated air mode the air is sucked out of the vehicle interior by the blower motor (M2) through the recirculated air flap and flows through the heater housing.
