Dismantle/Assemble Output Shaft With Center/Rear Gear Sets






1. Remove transmission housing at converter housing.
2. Remove multiple-disc clutch K1, K2 and K3.
3. Remove upper two visible Teflon rings (42b) from output shaft
4. Remove circlip (42f), shim (42e), thrust needle bearing (42d) and thrust washer (42c) from output shaft
5. Remove clutch K3 (44)
- Dismantle and assemble K3 clutch as required.
6. Remove rear tubular shaft (45) from output shaft
- Dismantle and assemble rear tubular shaft with free wheel as required.
7. Remove rear gear set (43) with integrated tubular shaft of center gear set from output shaft
8. Remove thrust washer (43a)
Remove and install multiple-disc brake B1 and oil pump.

ASSEMBLY
1. Mount thrust washer (43a) with the collar pointing towards the planet carrier
2. Mount rear gear set (43) with integrated tubular shaft of the center gear set on output shaft
3. Using grease, install lower three Teflon rings (42b) in the groove so that the joint stays together
4. Put rear tubular shaft (45) on output shaft
- Check O-rings on tubular shaft, replace if necessary
5. Install clutch K3 (44)
6. Mount circlip, shim, thrust needle bearing and thrust washer (42c-42f)
7. Using grease, insert the upper two Teflon rings (42b) in the groove so that the joint remains together
8. Using a feeler gauge, check axial play between thrust washer (42e) and circlip (42f)
- Specification, axial play between shim and circlip: 0.20-0.60 mm
- For the measurement, all parts must contact each other without play.
- Adjust play with shims (42e)
- Shims are available in thicknesses of 3.00, 3.40 and 3.70 mm
9. Install multiple-disc clutch K1, K2 and K3
