Torque converter lock-up clutch control pressure in general
Apart from the extreme states of open or closed, it is possible to operate the torque converter lockup clutch with preset slip speeds. In order to make this possible, the variable control pressure has to be applied to the torque converter lockup clutch regulating valve.
The torque converter lockup clutch control pressure is actuated via the torque converter lockup clutch control solenoid valve (Y3/6y6), which is actuated by the electronic transmission-control control unit (N15/3) and adapted to the respective operating condition.
