Evacuating

1. Remove high and low side service valve caps.
2. Connect manifold gauge set paying attention to high and low side connection of compressor. Connect center hose to vacuum pump.
3. Open both high and low side valves of gauge set and turn vacuum pump on for at least 15 minutes.
4. After 15 minutes and low side gauge reads at least 0.9-1.0 bar (0.918-1.02 square inch) vacuum, close gauges valves and shut off vacuum pump.
5. If after 10 minutes vacuum pressure has dropped more than 0.15 bar (0.153 square inch), the system has not been evacuated long enough or a leak is present.
