Antenna Operation Test - Signal Wire and Mast

Notes:
The antenna mast should be fully extended, clean and free of nicks, bends and dents.
The antenna should be securely mounted, properly grounded and the mast tube securely fastened.
The signal cable should be firmly plugged into the radio and tightly screwed in at the antenna.
The signal cable to the radio cannot be tested for continuity using an ohmmeter.
