Function electric rear seat adjustment

Vehicles with electric rear seat adjustment as special equipment are available.




The adjustment is made by actuating a rocker switch (1) on one of the two rear doors.

Adjusting Device:

The adjusting device is installed on the left and right under the rear seat bench and is driven by a centrally arranged motor with flexible shafts.

Backrest Bracket:

The adjusting range is approx. 100 mm. As the bracket of the rear seat backrest is connected at the top and bottom with 2 hinges each (arrows) to the rear seat bench, the inclination of the rear seat backrest changes when the rear seat bench is adjusted.

Guide Pins:

The backrest is hooked into the top of the bracket by means of 3 tapered guide pins (arrows).

Electrical Wiring Diagram:

Note: The rear seat adjustment is so connected that the rear seat adjustment cannot be actuated with the 2nd rocker switch if one of the two switches is defective or not connected.
