MODIFIED LIGHT ALLOY RIMS WITH SHORT RUBBER VALVES
Since the middle of October 1981, the light alloy rims have a modified bowl-shaped recess for the valve seats (figure 1, right arrow) inside the rim well. A short rubber valve (figure 2, right) is required for these rims (previously special alley valve).
The light alloy rims can be identified by the part no. inscribed on the inside of the wheel (see spare part list for this).
Repair Instructions
Please Note:
Only the short valve 000 400 01 13 can be fitted to light alloy rim with bowl-shaped valve seat.
Only special alloy valve 107 400 00 13 is still valid for the previous light alloy rim.
The rim of the previous version 6-1/2 Jx14 H2 remains valid for specially armored vehicles (108 400 10 02, spare part kit 108 400 22 02).
