Does Not Engage 4th Gear

Cause:
Coil of control valve (Y3/1y2) has bad contact.

Remedy:
1. Read out and record all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) from transmission control module (N15/1).
2. Erase all trouble cedes (DTC's) from malfunction microfiche.
3. Test drive vehicle.
- if 4th gear engages: Replace control valve (Y3/1y2).
- If 4th gear does not engage: Continue with testing.
