Shudders on Acceleration From Stop, Has Soft Partial Upshift

Cause:
Insufficient working pressure due to incorrect adjustment of injection pump Vacuum Control Valve (VCV) and hydraulic influences of the valve body.

Remedy:
1. If vehicle was produced prior to production phase-in listed below, verify correct adjustment of VCV.





2. If transmission was produced prior to production phase-in listed below. Remove spring from control valve convertor adaption (5) in valve body (oval, illustration).
3. Install modified spring in Control valve working pressure (26) in valve body (circle, illustration). Refer to production phase-in and parts information listed below.





Production Phase-in: Adjustment of VCV optimized during production.






Production Phase-in: Spring removed from control valve convertor adaption (5).






Production Phase-in: Modified spring installed in control valve working pressure (26).
