No Upshift Until Very High RPM When Engine Is Cold

POSSIBLE COMPLAINT DESCRIPTIONS:
- Transmission will not upshift until very high RPM when engine is cold.
- When engine is cold. second gear start vehicles may start out in first gear.
- After engine is warm or approx. 90 seconds from cold start, transmission function is normal.

CAUSE:
Transmission wiring harness connections reversed for kickdown solenoid and Upshift delay solenoid valve (Y3/2).

REMEDY:
Correct wiring harness connections on automatic transmission.
