Symptom - Fresh Air Heating Up

Cause/Remedy:







a) Wrong installation of heater valve, as a result the water flow cannot be completely interrupted.


Renew heater valve and install correctly. The letters "Wassereintritt" (water inlet) on heater valve should point toward front wall.


b) Defective control system. In the event of leaks on heater switches, check valve, heater valve or on vacuum lines the heater valve will open.

Eliminate leaks on control system.

c) Wrong adjustment of blend air flaps.

d) Engine heat is drawn in via heater blower.







Close open bores in unit partition with rubber plugs.

Check rubber seals:
on air inlet screen and unit partition.







on front fender
