Since April 1984, the air passage (arrow, Figure 1) has been relocated from the idle speed air valve into the hose connection (7a, Figure 3).

Repair Notes
If the idle speed air valve is replaced on vehicles with the previous version, proceed as follows:
The hose connection (7a) with vacuum line (a) and the flexible hose (1) without vacuum line should be installed. The vacuum line of the diaphragm pressure regulator should be connected to the vacuum line (a) of the hose connection (7a). Refer to Figure 3.
